Latch - Seat Back - 2nd Row Seat - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open LH doors and lower the LH windows.
- Move driver seat forward.
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat back panel. See Back Panel - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Remove And Replace)
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat back side cover. See COVER - SIDE - SEAT BACK - 2ND ROW - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the LH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2nd Row - LH (Remove And Replace)
- Remove the LH 2nd row backrest LH and RH headrest guides.NOTE: Lift the headrest guide locking tabs and slide headrest guide out of frame assembly. Guide with adjustment button installed inboard.
- Disconnect the LH 2nd row backrest harness, and then release the clip that attaches the harness to the backrest.
- Fold LH 2nd row seat to the vertical position, but do not latch the seat back.
- Release the clips (x4) that attach the LH 2nd row backrest cushion to the seat assembly.
- Remove the clips (x3) that attach the LH 2nd row seat shoulder plastic trim to the seat assembly.
- Release the clips (x5) that attach the LH 2nd row shoulder plastic trim to the frame assembly, and then partially release the shoulder plastic trim and set the trim aside.NOTE: Ensure the fold switch harness and connector are not excessively pulled. Use a plastic trim tool or shop towel to hold the trim away from the seat frame.
- Pull the red tab to release the connector lock, and then disconnect the LH 2nd row seat, seat back latch electrical connector.
- Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH 2nd row seat, seat back latch to the seat assembly, and then remove the latch from the vehicle.
20 N.m (14.7 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket
