Taillight - LH (Global) - Remove And Replace: Install

Hand-tighten the nuts that attach the taillight to the body.
Use the body gap and flush tool to verify the fitment of the taillight to the body.
NOTE: Body Gap and Flush Tool - 1588903-00-A

NOTE: Refer to the latest specifications in the Complete Vehicle Inspection Standards.

If adjustment is necessary, remove the taillight from the vehicle.
Position the adjustable datum in the center of the taillight to correct the taillight gap fitment and adjust the top threaded studs if additional clearance is needed.

Secure the datums (x2) to attach the LH taillight to the body.
NOTE: 2x datums, Note one datum clips into charge port door assembly, Verify body lamp is fully seated

Install the nuts (x2) that attach the taillight to the body.
3.5 Nm (2.6 lbs-ft)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 8 mm 12-point deep socket
- 4 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench

Connect the LH taillight electrical connector.

Install the LH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - LH - Remove And Replace .
Install the trunk floor front trim. See Trim - Front - Floor - Trunk - Remove And Replace .
Install the LH trunk load floor bracket. See Bracket - Trunk Load Floor - LH - Remove And Replace .
Install the rear wall trim. See Trim - Trim - Rear Trunk - Rear Wall - Remove And Replace .
Install the trunk sill panel. See Trim - Sill - Trunk - Remove And Replace .
Install the side trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Side - Remove And Replace .
Install the trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear - Remove And Replace .
Install the parcel shelf. See Parcel Shelf - Rear Trunk - Remove And Replace .
