Brake Lines - Block, Brake Pipe Junction - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Raise and support the vehicle. See RAISE VEHICLE - 2 STANDS .
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove all four wheels. See WHEEL ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND INSTALL .
- Remove the LH rear wheel arch liner. See WHEEL ARCH LINERS - REAR WHEEL LINER, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Position the oil drain under the rear brake line junction block.
- Remove the RH rear brake line tube nut from the LH rear brake pipe junction block.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 3 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 12 mm socket
- Remove the LH rear brake line tube nut from the LH rear brake pipe junction block.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 3 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 12 mm socket
- Remove the black clip from the LH rear brake pipe junction block.
- Remove the nut that attaches the LH rear brake pipe junction block to the vehicle, and then remove the block from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 4 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 10 mm socket
