Brake Pipes and Hoses - Jounce Hoses - Front Brake Hose, LH - Remove And Replace: Install

Position the LH rear flexible brake hose into the vehicle, and then install the nut that attaches the hose to the LH front brake caliper.
6 N.m (4.4 lbs-ft)

NOTE: The bolt and washers are captive in the new hose assembly.

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Cordless 1/4 in Dr Ratchet
- 10 mm deep socket

Install the nut that securing LH front brake line to LH front brake hose.
16 N.m (11.8 lbs-ft)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 3 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 12 mm socket

Install the bolt securing the LH front brake hose to LH front brake knuckle.
5 N.m (3.7 lbs-ft)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 3 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 12 mm socket

Install the bolt securing the LH front brake hose to LH front brake caliper.
42 N.m (31.0 lbs-ft)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 3 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 12 mm socket

NOTE: The bolt and washers (x2) are captive and cannot be reused. Replace the hose assembly if the bolt is loosened or removed.
Remove the oil drain from under the vehicle.
Perform a brake fluid flush on the brakes. See BRAKE FLUID BLEED/FLUSH (MAINTENANCE) .
