Brakes - Brake Pedal - Brake Pedal - Pedal Assembly, RHD - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open the RH front door and lower the RH front window.
- Move the driver's seat backward.
- Remove the rear apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV BATTERY - LI-ION - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
- Remove the RH footwell cover. See RHD INSTRUMENT PANEL - INSTRUMENT PANEL - DASH SUPPORT FRAME - DRIVER FOOTWELL ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the brake clevis clip. See BRAKES - BRAKE PEDAL - BRAKE PEDAL - BRAKE PEDAL CLEVIS PIN - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Disconnect the accelerator pedal electrical connector.
- Remove the bolt and the nuts (x4) that attach the brake pedal assembly to the vehicle, and then discard the nuts.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 13 mm deep socket
- 4 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Remove the brake pedal and the accelerator pedal as an assembly from the vehicle.
