Hood Latch And Release - Active Hood Striker - Remove And Replace: Install

Install the striker on to the hood, but do not fully torque the bolts.
NOTE: Use the masking tape and hood indentations as a guide.
Close the hood and use the gap and flush tool to verify alignment is within specification.

Open the hood and adjust the striker position as necessary.
Repeat step 2 and step 3 until alignment is satisfactory.
Fully tighten the bolts.
18 N.m (13.3 lbs-ft)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 3 in extension
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
