Bumper and Fascia - Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Fascia - Remove And Install: Install
- With an assistant, position the rear fascia onto the vehicle, then connect the electrical connectors (x2) that attach the rear fascia to the vehicle.
- Raise the vehicle.
- Apply a thin bead of Loctite 222 to the threads of the bolts (x5) that attach the rear portion of the mid aero shield to the vehicle.
5 N.m (3.7 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 2 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)
- Apply a thin bead of Loctite 222 to the threads of the bolts (x4) that attach the rear diffuser to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Torque wrench hexagon - 1060071-00-A
- Lower the vehicle.
- Install the screw and U-nut that attach the rear fascia to the LH quarter panel, then repeat this step on the RH side.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- 2 in extension
- Torque wrench hexagon - 1060071-00-A
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar - Install the clips (x3) that attach the LH rear wheel arch liner to the rear fascia, then repeat this step on the RH side.NOTE: LH shown, RH similar
- Lower the vehicle to the ground.
- Install the bolt that attaches the LH corner of the rear fascia to the body.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 2 in extension
- Torque wrench hexagon - 1060071-00-A
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar - Fasten the clips (x3) that attach the LH trough trim to the body.NOTE: LH shown, RH similar
- Install the bolt that attaches the LH trough trim to the body.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 bit
- Wiha Torque 0.8 N.m - 5.0 N.m screwdriver
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar - Repeat step 9 through step 11 on the RH side.
- Remove the vehicle from the 2 post lift. See RAISE VEHICLE - 2 STANDS .
