Front Bumper Carrier - Assembly, Carrier Front End - Remove And Replace: Install
- Position the front end carrier to the vehicle.
- Hand-tighten the bolts (x2) that attach the front end carrier to the LH subframe crash can, then repeat this step on the RH side.NOTE: LH shown, RH similar
- Hand tighten the bolt that attaches the LH upper section of the front end carrier to the body, then repeat this step on the RH side.NOTE: LH shown, RH similar
- Torque the bolt that attaches the LH upper section of the front end carrier to the body, then repeat this step on the RH side.
16 N.m (11.8 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 13 mm socket
- 4 in extension
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar - Torque the bolts (x2) that attach the front end carrier to the LH subframe crash can, then repeat this step on the RH side.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 13 mm socket
- 2 in extension
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar - Install the LH bolt that attaches the bottom of the condenser fan module to the ankle catcher, then repeat this step on the RH side.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 8 mm socket
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar - Install the front end module harness. See FRONT BUMPER AND FRONT END HARNESSES - ASSEMBLY, HARNESS, FEM, PHX - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the hood latch actuator. See HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE - HOOD LATCH DOUBLE PULL SINGLE ACTUATOR - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the front bumper beam. See FRONT ENERGY ABSORBER - ASSEMBLY BUMPER BEAM - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the LH and RH front fascia reinforcements. See FRONT BUMPER CARRIER - REINFORCEMENT LH, FRONT FASCIA - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Install the front fascia. See FRONT BUMPER FASCIA - FASCIA ASSEMBLY - FRONT - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
