Rear Door Hinges And Fittings - Hinge Rear Upper Left - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open all four doors and lower all four windows.
- Apply masking tape to the area surrounding the LH rear door upper hinge on the body and door to aid in alignment during installation.
- Use a jack to support the LH rear door from the bottom.NOTE: Make sure to use soft material to protect the painted surface.
- Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH rear door upper hinge to the door.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 6 in extension
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 10 mm socket
- Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH rear door upper hinge to the body.NOTE: Support the door hinge to ensure it does not fall in the door jam.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 13 mm socket
- Carefully remove the LH rear door upper hinge from the vehicle.
