Front Seat Covers And Pads - 1st Row Sideshield Carrier, LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the driver seat outboard side shield assembly from the driver seat. See FRONT SEAT COVERS AND PADS - 1ST ROW OUTBOARD SIDESHIELD, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
    NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the back rest and cushion adjust switch from the trim assembly after removing the trim from the seat.
  2. Use a flat head screwdriver to release the front clips (x2) that attach the driver seat outboard side shield carrier to the seat assembly.
    WARNING: The video(s) included in this procedure are meant as an overview for supplemental purposes only. Follow all of the steps listed in the procedure to avoid damage to components and/or personal injury.

  3. Partially lift the carrier and then pull it backwards to release the rear tabs (x2), and then rotate the carrier away to remove it from the seat frame.
    NOTE: Don't use too much force to prevent damage to the carrier and trim.
