Front Bumper Carrier - Assembly, Carrier Front End - Remove And Replace: Remove

Remove the front fascia. See FRONT BUMPER FASCIA - FASCIA ASSEMBLY - FRONT - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Remove the LH and RH front fascia reinforcements. See FRONT BUMPER CARRIER - REINFORCEMENT LH, FRONT FASCIA - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Remove the front bumper beam. See FRONT ENERGY ABSORBER - ASSEMBLY BUMPER BEAM - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Remove the hood latch actuator. See HOOD LATCH AND RELEASE - HOOD LATCH DOUBLE PULL SINGLE ACTUATOR - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Remove the front end module harness. See FRONT BUMPER AND FRONT END HARNESSES - ASSEMBLY, HARNESS, FEM, PHX - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
Remove the LH bolt that attaches the bottom of the condenser fan module to the ankle catcher.
NOTE: Lift the condenser fan module up to ease removal of the bolts.

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 8 mm socket
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the front end carrier to the LH subframe crash can.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless hex driver
- 13 mm socket
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar

Loosen but do not remove the bolt that attaches the LH upper section of the front end carrier to the body.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- 13 mm socket
- 4 in extension
NOTE: LH shown, RH similar

Repeat step 2 through step 4 on the RH side of the vehicle.
Remove the front end carrier.
CAUTION: Be cautious the ankle catcher may fall off.
