Instrument Panel - Instrument Panel - Dash Panel - IP Wrapped Around Assembly - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Replace any damaged clips on the instrument panel speaker grille.
  2. Connect the grille ambient light connectors (x2).

  3. Attach the clips (x9) and guide tabs (x2) that secure the instrument panel speaker grille (refer to image, callout 2) and upper instrument panel trim (refer to image, callout 1) to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Make sure that there is no gap at the bottom of the windshield.

  4. Install the LH and RH upper A-Pillar trims. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - A - PILLAR UPPER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  5. Install the LH and RH instrument panel end caps. See DASH PANEL - END CAP, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  6. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
  7. In Toolbox, click the Actions/Autodiag  tab, and then type "TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_RGB" into the search field.
  8. Click TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_RGB Search for routine in Toolbox Low Voltage Controllers, click Run  , and allow the routine to complete.
  9. Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
