Infotainment - Audio System - Speakers, Subwoofer and Amplifier - Audio Speakers - External Audio Amplifier - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV BATTERY - LI-LON - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
- Remove the trunk load floor. See TRUNK CARPET AND SIDE FINISHERS - LOAD FLOOR ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the trunk sill trim. See A-B-C POST INTERIOR TRIM - TRUNK SILL - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the RH load floor bracket. See TRUNK CARPET AND SIDE FINISHERS - LOAD FLOOR BRACKET LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the trunk garnish. See TRUNK INTERIOR - TRUNK GARNISH, ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Release the clip that attaches the RH trunk side trim to the body.
- Pull the RH trunk side trim carpet away from the body to gain access to the working area.
- Disconnect the connectors (x3) from the RH rear audio amplifier.
- Remove the bolt that attaches the audio amplifier to the body, and then remove the audio amplifier from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm socket
- 4 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
