Audio Speakers - Audio, Speaker, Full Range, 200 Mm - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See DASH PANEL - END CAP, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH upper A-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - A - PILLAR UPPER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH sun visor. See SUN VISORS - SUN VISOR ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the lower camera cover. See REARVIEW MIRROR - REAR VIEW MIRRROR, CAM LOWER COVER - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the rear view mirror. See REARVIEW MIRROR - REAR VIEW MIRROR, ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Repeat step 1 through step 3 for the RH side of the vehicle.
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat side bolster. See 2ND ROW SEAT ASSEMBLIES - 2ND ROW BOLSTER - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See 2ND ROW SEAT ASSEMBLIES - 2ND ROW SEAT CUSHION - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - A - PILLAR LOWER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH lower B-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - B - PILLAR LOWER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH middle B-pillar trim. See TRIM - B-PILLAR - MIDDLE - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH upper B-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - B - PILLAR UPPER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Repeat step 7 and step 9 through step 12 for the RH side of the vehicle.
- Release the clips (x6) and locator pin that attach the front of the headliner to the vehicle.NOTE: Take care not to bend the headliner when releasing the clips.NOTE: If the metal clips are damaged during releasing, replace them with new metal clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH headliner speaker.
- Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH headliner speaker to the headliner, and then remove the speaker from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Torx T10 socket
- 2 in extension
- Torx T10 bit
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10 N.m - 2.0 N.m
- Open all doors and lower all windows.
- Move the LH and RH front seats forward.
- Release the clips (x4), locations (x2) and tether hooks (x2) that secure the LH side rail assembly, and then remove the assembly from the vehicle.NOTE: Pull the upper corner of the side rail, then work your way to bottom. Pull the lower side rail toward RH to release the clips. Release the tethers from the bolted bungee tether.
- Use a small flat head screwdriver to remove and discard the tether hooks (x2) from the LH body.
- Remove the LH side bolster. See 2ND ROW SEAT ASSEMBLIES - 2ND ROW BOLSTER - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Release clips (x3) and tabs (x3) to release the LH C-pillar assembly, then set the trim aside.NOTE: Pull the rear C-pillar trim inward then forward to remove.
- Repeat step 3 to 6 for the RH side.
- Remove the package tray harness clips (x2) around the C-pillar area.
- Disconnect the package tray harness connector from the RH body harness.
- Release tabs (x5), then remove the package tray.NOTE: 3 tabs are at the rear of the panel and 2 are on the sides. Slide towards the front of the vehicle to remove.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH woofer.
- Remove the bolts (x4) that secure the LH woofer, and then remove the woofer from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- Ratchet/torque wrench
