Exterior Fittings - Luggage Compartment Trim - Front Luggage Storage Compartment - Frunk Reinforcement Assembly - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See EXTERIOR FITTINGS - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM - FRONT LUGGAGE STORAGE COMPARTMENT - FRUNK ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the harness clips (x3) from the frunk reinforcement bracket.
- Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the frunk reinforcement bracket to the fan assembly, and then remove the frunk reinforcement bracket from the fan assembly.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 2 in extension
- 10 mm socket
- Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the cooling fan module isolation brackets to the frunk reinforcement assembly, and set the upper isolation brackets aside for re-installation to the new frunk reinforcement assembly.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm 12-point deep socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
