Exterior Fittings - Luggage Compartment Trim - Front Luggage Storage Compartment - Frunk Assembly - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Remove the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  3. Remove the cabin intake duct. See CABIN HVAC - HVAC, FRESH AIR GUTTER, ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  4. Release the clips (x3), the guide tabs (x3) and the connector that attach the access panel to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Grasp the access panel at the top and pull it back to release the clips.

  5. Remove the bolts (x4) that secure the underhood storage unit.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

  6. Release the clips (x8) and locator pins (x3) that attach the underhood storage unit to the vehicle, and then remove the underhood storage unit from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Replace any clips if broken or missing.
