Exterior Trim Fittings - Mud Flaps - Pair: Procedure
- Open the LH front door.
- Turn the steering wheel fully to the left to provide access to the working area.
- Remove the bolt that attaches the LH mud flap and rocker cover to the body.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm deep socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Remove the clips (x2) that attach the LH mud flap to front LH wheel arch liner and the rocker cover, and then remove the mud flap from the vehicle.
- Position the LH mud flap onto the wheel liner and the rocker cover, then secure the clips (x2).
- Install the bolt that attaches the LH mud flap and rocker cover to the body.
3 N.m (2.2 lbs-ft)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 10 mm deep socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Repeat step 2 to 6 for the RH side.
- Center the steering wheel.
- Close the LH front door.
