A-B-C Post Interior Trim - B-Pillar Bracket, LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See 2ND ROW SEAT ASSEMBLIES - 2ND ROW SEAT CUSHION - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  2. Remove the LH side rail trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - SIDE RAIL ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  3. Remove the LH 2nd row seat side bolster. See 2ND ROW SEAT ASSEMBLIES - 2ND ROW BOLSTER - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  4. Remove the LH IP end cap. See DASH PANEL - END CAP, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  5. Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - A - PILLAR LOWER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  6. Remove the LH lower B-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - B - PILLAR LOWER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  7. Remove the LH middle B-pillar trim. See TRIM - B-PILLAR - MIDDLE - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  8. Remove the LH upper B-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - B - PILLAR UPPER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  9. Repeat step  2 through step  8 on the RH side of the vehicle.
  10. Release the rear headliner. See HEADLINER - HEADLINER ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  11. Use a pry tool to remove the fir tree clip that attaches the curtain airbag to the B-pillar bracket, then release the LH curtain airbag from the B-pillar bracket.

  12. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH curtain airbag to the body.
    NOTE: Inspect the bolts for captive washers and make sure they are intact with the curtain airbag, if not, replace the curtain airbag.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

  13. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH B-pillar bracket to the body.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Torque Wrench Hexagon - 1060071-00-A (for installation only)

  14. Use a pry tool to remove the LH B-pillar bracket from the body.
