A-B-C Post Interior Trim - B-Pillar Bracket, LH - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the LH B-pillar bracket onto the body.
    WARNING: The video(s) included in this procedure are meant as an overview for supplemental purposes only. Follow all of the steps listed in the procedure to avoid damage to components and/or personal injury.

  2. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH B-pillar bracket to the body.

    2.5 N.m (1.8 lbs-ft) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Torque Wrench Hexagon - 1060071-00-A (for installation only)

  3. Install the fir tree clip that attaches the curtain airbag to the B-pillar bracket.
  4. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH curtain airbag to the body.

    9 N.m (6.6 lbs-ft) 

    NOTE: Apply Loctite 222 to the threads of each bolt prior to installation.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 2 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench (for installation only)

  5. Install the rear headliner. See HEADLINER - HEADLINER ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  6. Install the LH upper B-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - B - PILLAR UPPER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  7. Install the LH middle B-pillar trim. See TRIM - B-PILLAR - MIDDLE - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  8. Install the LH lower B-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - B - PILLAR LOWER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  9. Install the LH lower A-pillar trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - A - PILLAR LOWER ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  10. Install the LH IP end cap. See DASH PANEL - END CAP, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  11. Install the LH 2nd row seat side bolster. See 2ND ROW SEAT ASSEMBLIES - 2ND ROW BOLSTER - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  12. Install the LH side rail trim. See A - B - C POST INTERIOR TRIM - SIDE RAIL ASSEMBLY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  13. Repeat step  6 through step  12 on the RH side of the vehicle.
  14. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See 2ND ROW SEAT ASSEMBLIES - 2ND ROW SEAT CUSHION - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
