Closure Panels - Assembly - Rear Door - Left - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - REAR APRON ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door outer belt seal. See REAR DOOR SEALS - REAR DOOR OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door puddle light. See INTERIOR TRIM - DOOR TRIM - REAR DOOR TRIM PAD - PUDDLE LAMP - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door trim panel. See INTERIOR TRIM - DOOR TRIM - REAR DOOR TRIM PAD - DOOR TRIM ASSEMBLY - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door glass. See FRONT AND REAR DOOR GLASS - GLASS, REAR DOOR LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door secondary seal. See REAR DOOR SEALS - SEAL, REAR, DOOR, SECONDARY, LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Disconnect LV power. See LV BATTERY - LI-LON - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
- Remove the LH rear window regulator assembly. See FRONT AND REAR DOOR GLASS REGULATOR - WINDOW REGULATOR MODULE REAR DOOR LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door latch. See REAR DOOR LATCH AND STRIKER - DOOR LATCH, REAR LH, BASE, T1 - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door outer handle. See FRONT AND REAR EXTERIOR DOOR HANDLES - REAR DOOR HANDLE OUTER, PASSIVE, LEFT HAND - BLACK - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door harness. See DOOR AND TRUNK HARNESS - ASSEMBLY, HARNESS, REAR LH DOOR - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- Remove the LH rear door check strap. See REAR DOOR HINGES AND FITTINGS - REAR DOOR CHECK STRAP - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
- With assistance, remove the bolts (x4) that attach the LH rear door assembly to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Ratchet/torque wrench
