Closure Panels - Assembly - Fender - Left - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the front fender assembly. See CLOSURE PANELS - ASSEMBLY - FENDER - LEFT - REMOVE AND INSTALL .
  2. Apply protective tape to the LH front fender around the LH front side repeater assembly.

  3. Release the tabs (x3) that attach the LH front side repeater assembly to the LH front fender, and then separate the assembly from the fender.
    NOTE: Release the rearmost tab first.
    CAUTION: If reinstalling the same side repeater, take care not to damage the mounting tabs.

  4. Release the clip that attaches the LH cowl screen carrier bracket to the old LH front fender, and then remove the bracket from the fender.

  5. Remove the headlight grommet from the old LH front fender.

  6. Remove the underhood storage unit clips (x3) from the old LH front fender.
