Headliner - Rear Map Lamp - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install the LH map lamp to the headliner.
  2. Use a Phillips screwdriver to install the bolt that attaches the LH map lamp to the headliner.

    0.3 N.m (3 lbs-in)

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the LH map lamp.
  4. Install the partially removed headliner.
    NOTE: 2x clips, 1x locating pin. First push the locating pin in the hole and then push the headliner until the clips engage.

  5. Install LH map light bezel to headliner
    NOTE: 2x tabs, 1x alignment pin. Alignment pin should face upward.

  6. Install the LH coat hook assembly. See Headliner - Coat Hook Assembly LH - Remove And Replace .
  7. Install the LH side rail assembly. See A - B - C Post Interior Trim - Side Rail Assembly, LH - Remove And Replace .
  8. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
  9. In Toolbox, click the Actions  tab, and then search for "Rear Dome Lights".
  10. Click on TEST-SELF_VCLEFT_REAR-DOME-LIGHTS Search for routine in Toolbox Low Voltage Controllers, and then click Run  , and allow the routine to complete.
  11. Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT .
  12. Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See SOFTWARE REINSTALL - TOUCHSCREEN .
