Nozzle - Windshield Washer (Adjust): Adjustment
- Apply tape to the windshield directly above the washer blades to help positioning the washer nozzle target points.
- Mark the locations for the washer nozzle targets on the tape.
All targets are located 0.4 inches (1 cm) above the wiper blades.
Measured from the center tab of wiper blade, the targets are:
- LH washer nozzle targets:
- 7.5 in (19 cm) to the left
- 6.7 in (17 cm) to the right
- RH washer nozzle targets:
- 6.7 in (17 cm) to the left
- 5.9 in (15 cm) to the right
- LH washer nozzle targets:
- If the vehicle is equipped with an arm mounted washer nozzle, mark the location for the arm mounted nozzle target on the tape.
The target is 2 in (5 cm) above the wiper blade.
Measured from the center tab of the wiper blade, the target is 11.2 in (28.5 cm) to the right.
- Adjust the nozzles until they are all aligned to the target points.
Tip: Use a 90 degree miniature pick if necessary.
- To verify the locations of the washer nozzles, press and hold the wiper button to spray the windshield with the washer jets. Repeat this procedure if the locations are incorrect.NOTE:
- The drive rail must be on.
- The doors may need to be closed depending on regions.
- Remove the tape from the windshield.
