Electrical - Wipers and Washer - Windshield Wipers and Motor - Wiper Module - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Remove the underhood storage unit. See EXTERIOR FITTINGS - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM - FRONT LUGGAGE STORAGE COMPARTMENT - FRUNK ASSEMBLY - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  3. Remove the wiper arms. See ELECTRICAL - WIPERS AND WASHERS - WINDSHIELD WIPERS AND MOTOR - WIPER ARM DR - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  4. Remove the cowl screen panel. See UNDERHOOD TRIM - ASSEMBLY, COWL SCREEN, LHD - REMOVE AND REPLACE .
  5. Disconnect the wiper module connector.
    NOTE: Do not place the limbs within the linkage movement area as the wiper arms will automatically transition to parking mode.

  6. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the wiper module to the body, and then remove the wiper module from the vehicle.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 2 in extension
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • 10 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
