Catch Basin - Active Spoiler - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Lower the LH front window.
  3. Open the liftgate.
  4. Remove the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Remove the liftgate speaker grille. See Grille - Speaker - Liftgate (Remove and Replace) .
  6. Remove the liftgate upper trim. See Trim - Upper - Liftgate (Remove and Replace) .
  7. Remove the LH and RH liftgate speaker. See Speaker - Liftgate - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  8. Remove the LH and RH liftgate tweeter. See Tweeter - Liftgate - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  9. Remove the center liftgate trim bracket. See Bracket - Trim - Liftgate - Center (Remove and Replace) .
  10. Remove the LH active spoiler catch basin cover. See COVER - CATCH BASIN - ACTIVE SPOILER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  11. Remove the liftgate cinching actuator. See ACTUATOR - CINCHING - LIFTGATE (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  12. Remove the LH liftgate drain. See Liftgate Drain - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  13. Release and discard the fir tree clip that attaches the LH active spoiler catch basin to the liftgate, and then remove the catch basin from the vehicle.
    NOTE: Turn the catch basin clockwise, and then slide the catch basin to the center of the liftgate to remove.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Clip prytool 20 in
