Seat Track Assembly - 1st Row (RH) - Remove and Replace: Remove

  1. Remove front passenger seat from the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row (LH) - Remove and Replace .
  2. Remove the front passenger seat outboard side shield. See Side Shield - Outboard - Driver Seat - Remove and Replace .
  3. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the electrical connector from the pretensioner.

  4. Remove the front passenger seat inboard side shield. See SIDE SHIELD - INBOARD - DRIVER SEAT (REMOVE AND REPLACE) 
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the 1st row buckle.

  6. Position the seat to access the underside of the seat.
    NOTE: Protect the seat cushion from damage as necessary.
  7. Disconnect the seat track position sensor connector.

  8. Release the clip that attaches the track motor harness to the track motor housing.

  9. Disconnect the LH front seat track motor connector.

  10. Remove and discard the inboard bolts (x2) that attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame.

    23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended: Torx T50 socket

  11. Remove the outboard bolts (x2) that attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame, and then set the seat track assembly on a flat surface.

    23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended: Torx T50 socket

  12. Remove and discard the patchbolt that attaches the buckle to the seat track, and then remove the buckle.

    1. Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    2. Torx T50 socket
    3. 3/8 in std ratchet
    4. 3/8 in torque wrench (installation only)
    5. 3 in extension
  13. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the pretensioner to the seat track, and then remove the pretensioner from the assembly.

    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    1. Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    2. Torx T50 socket
    3. 3/8 in std ratchet
    4. 3/8 in torque wrench (installation only)
    5. 3 in extension
  14. Remove the screw that attaches the seat track position sensor to the seat track assembly, and then remove the sensor from the assembly.
