Seat Track Assembly - 1st Row (RH) - Remove and Replace: Install

  1. Position the seat track position sensor to the seat track assembly, and then install a new screw that attaches the sensor to the assembly.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

  2. Position the pretensioner to the seat track, and then install a new bolt that attaches the pretensioner to the seat track.

    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    NOTE: Align the pretensioner guide pin to the seat track.
    1. Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    2. Torx T50 socket
    3. 3/8 in std ratchet
    4. 3/8 in torque wrench (installation only)
    5. 3 in extension
  3. Position the buckle onto the seat track assembly, and then install the patchbolt that comes with the new seat belt buckle to attach the buckle to the seat track.

    40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)

    1. Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    2. Torx T50 socket
    3. 3/8 in std ratchet
    4. 3/8 in torque wrench (installation only)
    5. 3 in extension
  4. Position the new seat track assembly to the seat cushion frame.

  5. Install the outboard bolts (x2) that attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame.

    23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft)

  6. Install new inboard bolts (x2) that attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame.

    23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft)

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended: Torx T50 socket

  7. Connect the LH front seat track motor connector.

  8. Install the clip that attaches the seat track harness connector to the seat track motor.

  9. Connect the seat track position sensor connector.

  10. Return the seat back to the upright position.
  11. Connect the buckle connector.

  12. Install the front passenger seat inboard side shield. See SIDE SHIELD - INBOARD - DRIVER SEAT (REMOVE AND REPLACE) 
  13. Connect the pretensioner electrical connector.

  14. Install the front passenger seat outboard side shield. See SIDE SHIELD - OUTBOARD - DRIVER SEAT (REMOVE AND REPLACE) 
  15. Install the front passenger seat. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row (LH) - Remove and Replace .
