Fender Assembly - Front - LH - Remove and Replace: Install

Tip: For instructions on how to align the fender, refer to Fender Alignment .

1. Install the underhood storage unit clips (3x) on the new LH front fender.
   NOTE: Replace any broken or damaged clips.

2. Install the headlight grommet on the new LH front fender.

3. Position the LH cowl screen carrier bracket on the new LH front fender, and then install the clip that attaches the bracket to the fender.

4. Load urethane into a caulking gun, and then cut an opening that is 3.5 mm wide and 1.5 mm tall.
5. Apply a dollop of urethane on top of the primed surface of the LH outer shotgun panel.

6. Position the new LH front fender on the vehicle.

7. Install the bolt and nut that attach the lower LH front fender to the vehicle.

   9.8 N.m (7.2 ft-lbs)

8. Install the bolt that attaches the rear LH front fender to the vehicle.

9. Install the bolt that attaches the lower LH front fender to the vehicle.

10. Install the bolts that attach the upper LH front fender to the vehicle.

11. Install the cowl screen panel clips (2x) on the LH front fender bracket.

12. Install the LH fascia side to fender bracket. See BRACKET - FASCIA SIDE TO FENDER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
13. Install a new LH front side repeater light. See Light - Side Repeater - Front - LH (Remove And Replace) .
14. Install the LH headlight. See Headlight - LH (Remove And Replace) .
15. Install the front fascia. See FASCIA - FRONT (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
16. For China, Japan and Korea only: Install a new motor ID label on the fender.
