Plate - Sliding - Seat - 2nd Row - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect) .
- In Toolbox, click Actions
, and then search for 'BCS2L'.
- Click PROC_REAR_MONO-SEAT-ENABLE-INSTALL-MODE
, and then click Run
. Allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect)
.NOTE: Do not close Toolbox as it will be needed to resume later.
- Move the driver seat fully forward.
- Remove the LH and RH rear sill panel trims. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the 2nd row floor mat. See FLOOR MAT - 2ND ROW (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the 2nd row mid floor panel. See FLOOR PANEL - MID - 2ND ROW (6 SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat post inner and outer trim panels. See Trim - Outer - Seat Post - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace) and Trim - Inner - Seat Post - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat sliding plate carpet.NOTE: Carpet is 1 time use only. Replace the carpet after peeling it from the podium.
- Remove the screws (x2) that attach the LH 2nd row seat sliding plate to the seat base.
2.5 N.m (1.8 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
- Remove the LH 2nd row seat sliding plate.NOTE: Gently slide plate forward to release the clips, and then lift up and remove the plate.
- Remove the carpet from the 2nd row seat sliding plate. Remove remaining adhesive residue with IPA wipes.
