C-Clips - Strut - Trunk - LH - Remove and Replace: Remove

  1. Open the trunk and support it with a prop.
  2. Release the clip that attaches the lower end of the LH trunk gas strut to the hinge on the vehicle.

  3. Release the clip that attaches the upper end of the LH trunk gas strut to the hinge on the trunk lid, and then remove the strut from the vehicle.

  4. Remove the clips (x2) from the LH trunk gas strut.
