Sensor - Parking Distance - Inner - Front - Remove and Replace: Install

  1. Install the sensor and then fasten the tabs (x2) that attach the front parking distance sensor to the front fascia.

  2. Install the underhood storage unit. See UNDERHOOD STORAGE UNIT (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  3. Install the cabin intake duct. See DUCT - CABIN INTAKE (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  4. Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD APRON - REAR (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Consult the parts catalog to determine the type of parking sensor installed on the vehicle. If the vehicle is equipped with Tesla USS, run the following Toolbox 3.0 routines in the order listed
    1. TEST-RESET_PARK
    2. PROC_USM_FRONT_PROGRAM-USS-ADDRESSES
