Trim - Cushion - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the RH 2nd row seat cushion trim onto the foam padding.
  2. Use hog ring pliers to crimp the hog rings to the RH 2nd row seat cushion trim at the rear of the foam padding.

  3. Attach an additional 21 cm of the remaining portion of the RH 2nd row seat cushion trim to the foam padding.
  4. Use hog ring pliers to crimp the hog rings to the RH 2nd row seat cushion trim at the front of the foam padding.

  5. Attach the remaining portion of the RH 2nd row seat cushion trim to the foam padding.
  6. Position the RH 2nd row seat cushion trim cover onto the cushion pan, and then fasten the hooks.

  7. Fasten the holding tab that attaches the RH 2nd row seat occupancy sensor harness to the cushion pan.

  8. Connect the RH 2nd row seat occupancy sensor electrical connector.

  9. Install the RH 2nd row seat heater pad connector to the cushion pan.

  10. Connect the RH 2nd row seat heat pad electrical connector.

  11. Position the RH 2nd row seat cushion assembly onto the seat from, but do not fully seat the cushion assembly.
  12. Fasten the clips that attach the RH 2nd row seat recliner actuator cable to the recliner release arm.

  13. Install the RH 2nd row seat easy entry actuator cable to the LH easy entry latch.

  14. Install the RH 2nd row seat easy entry actuator cable to the RH easy entry latch.

  15. Install the RH 2nd row seat floor latch actuator cable to the LH floor latch.

  16. Install the RH 2nd row seat floor latch actuator cable from the RH floor latch.

  17. Push downward on the RH 2nd row seat cushion assembly to fully seat it to the seat frame.
  18. Install the clip that attaches the RH 2nd row seat cushion pan to the seat frame.

  19. Install the bolts that attach the RH 2nd row seat cushion pan to the seat frame.

    Torque 2.5 N.m 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 10 mm deep socket
    • Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

  20. Fasten the clips that attach the RH 2nd row seat cushion harness to the podium.

  21. Connect the RH 2nd row seat track position sensor electrical connector.

  22. Fasten the clip that attaches the RH 2nd row seat seatbelt buckle connector to the cushion pan.

  23. Connect the RH 2nd row seat seatbelt buckle electrical connector.

  24. Connect the RH 2nd row seat LH floor latch electrical connector.

  26. Install the clip that attaches the RH 2nd row seat cushion harness connector to the seat frame.

  27. Connect the LH 2nd row seatback harness electrical connector.

  28. Fasten the hook that attaches the inner B-cover to the RH 2nd row seat assembly.

  29. Disconnect the RH 2nd row seat recliner actuator electrical connector.

  30. Using the seat fold tool, connect the recliner actuator electrical connector into the recliner actuator, and then activate the switch to fold the RH 2nd row seat down.
  31. Disconnect the seat fold tool from the RH 2nd row seat.
  32. Connect the RH 2nd row seat recliner actuator electrical connector.
  33. Position the RH 2nd row seat outer B-cover onto the inner B-cover, and then install the clips (x4).

  34. Connect the RH 2nd row seat side shield electrical connector.

  35. Position the RH 2nd row seat side shield onto the RH 2nd row seat assembly, and then install the clip.

  36. Install the clip that attaches the RH 2nd row seat side shield to the cushion pan.

  37. Install the RH 2nd row seat toe kick cover.

  38. Install the RH 2nd row seat assembly. See SEAT ASSEMBLY - 2ND ROW - RH (7-SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
