Cover - Seat Back - 2nd Row - RH (7-Seat) - Remove and Replace: Remove
- Open the RH front and both rear doors.
- Lower the RH front and both rear windows.
- Move the RH 2nd row seat forward using the towel bar.
- Remove the RH 2nd row back panel. See Back Panel - 2Nd Row Seat - RH (Remove And Replace) .
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat should switch. See Shoulder Switch - Seat Back - 2Nd Row - LH (Remove And Replace) .
- Remove the RH 2nd row seat toe kick cover. See Cover - Toe Kick - 2nd Row Seat - RH (7-Seat) - Remove And Replace .
- Remove the clips (x2) and elastic harness holder that attach the seat harness to the bottom side of the seat frame, and then disconnect the 2nd row seat connector.
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest. See Headrest - 2Nd Row - Outer - LH (Remove And Replace)
- Remove the RH 2nd row headrest adjustment guide and guide lock. See:

- Release the clips (x4) that attach the RH 2nd row seat back assembly to the vehicle, and then lift the seat back upward to remove it from the vehicle.
- Place the RH 2nd row seat back assembly on a suitable working surface.
- Disconnect the seat heating connector.
- Release the tabs (x16) that attach the RH 2nd row seat back cover to the seat back assembly.
- Remove the back rest shell from the RH 2nd row seat back cover.NOTE: Early production vehicles may have staples holding the material to the shell in some areas.
- Release the hook and loop attachment around the perimeter, cut and discard the hog rings (x3), and then remove the RH 2nd row seat back cover from the foam.NOTE: Clean any remaining debris from the assembly.
