Actuator - Floor Latch - 2nd Row Seat - LH (7-Seat) - Remove And Replace: Remove

Remove the LH 2nd row seat assembly. See SEAT ASSEMBLY - 2ND ROW - LH (7-SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
With assistance, place the LH 2nd row seat assembly on a stable work area.
CAUTION: Prevent the seat assembly from tipping over. Fold the center armrest down to stabilize the weight. Use a ballast bag and ay additional support as needed.
Remove the LH 2nd row seat toe kick cover. See COVER - TOE KICK - 2ND ROW SEAT - LH (7-SEAT) (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
Remove the bolts that attach the LH 2nd row seat rear cushion pan to the seat frame.
2.5 N.m (1.8 ft-lbs)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Remove the clip that attaches the LH 2nd row seat side shield to the seat assembly.

Lift the LH 2nd row seat side shield up and away from the seat assembly to release it.
CAUTION: Do not pull the side shield away from the seat assembly as there is still an electrical connector connected.

Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat side shield electrical connector, and then remove the side shield from the assembly.

Gently pull the seat cushion trim aside to reveal the cushion pan fastener, and then remove the fastener.
6 N.m (4.4 ft-lbs)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 4 in extension

Release the clips that attach the LH 2nd row seat inboard outer cover from the inboard inner assembly, and then remove the cover from the assembly.

Release hook that attaches the LH 2nd row seat strap to the inboard inner assembly.

Remove the LH 2nd row seat inboard inner assembly screw.
1.5 N.m (1.1 ft-lbs)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T20 socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench

Place the LH 2nd row seat on its back.
Remove the LH 2nd row seat cushion pan clips.

Lift up on the LH 2nd row seat cushion assembly, but do not remove it.

Release the LH 2nd row seat floor latch cable from the outboard floor latch.

Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat floor latch actuator electrical connector.

Remove the screws that attach the LH 2nd row seat floor latch actuator to the cushion pan, and then remove the actuator from the assembly.
2.5 N.m (1.8 ft-lbs)

- 8 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
