Backrest Switch -- Seat Back -- 2nd Row -- Center - 7-Seat | Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Move the driver seat fully forward, and then open the LH rear door and lower the LH rear window.
  2. Fold down the rear LH/60 seat.
  3. Working from the top of the backrest switch, use a trim tool to release the clips that attach the backrest switch to the seat.
    CAUTION: To avoid damage, do not insert the trim tool at the bottom of the backrest switch.
    CAUTION: The backrest switch has an electrical connector; do not pull the backrest switch away from the seat yet.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the backrest switch.

  5. Remove the backrest switch from the vehicle.
