Remove and Install

  1. Open RH front door
  2. Remove RH front floormat
  3. Remove the RH mid A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - MIDDLE - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  4. Remove the RH lower A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Remove the RH center console side panel. See SIDE PANEL - CENTER CONSOLE - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  6. Remove the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (LHD) (Remove and Replace) .
  7. Move RH front seat forward
  8. Remove RH front seat rear fasteners
    NOTE: 2x patch bolts, T45P, 33.5 N.m, Discard after removal

  9. Move RH front seat backward
  10. Remove RH front seat front fasteners
    NOTE: 2x patch bolts, T45P, 33.5 N.m, Discard after removal

  11. Position RH front seat up and tilt backwards
    NOTE: Carefully lean RH front seat backwards

  12. Release clips securing RH cabin carpet to cabin support
    NOTE: 2x clips

  13. Release clips securing RH front cabin carpet underneath front seat

  14. Remove RH front cabin carpet from vehicle
    NOTE: 1x harness clip, Release seat harness clip and harness, Release all edges, Take note of short edge under center console

  15. Install RH front cabin carpet into vehicle
    NOTE: 1x harness clip, Position carpet into vehicle, Secure seat harness clip and harness, Secure all edges, Tuck short edge underneath center console

  16. Install clips securing RH front cabin carpet underneath front seat
    NOTE: 4x clips

  17. Install clips securing RH cabin carpet to cabin support
    NOTE: 2x push clips, Secure clips and verify fitment of carpet

  18. Position RH front seat down and tilt forwards
    NOTE: Carefully return to original position

  19. Install RH front seat front fasteners
    NOTE: 2x patch bolts, T45P, 33.5 N.m, Install new patch bolts

  20. Move RH front seat forward
  21. Install RH front seat rear fasteners
    NOTE: 2x patch bolts, T45P, 33.5 N.m, Install new patch bolts

  22. Move RH front seat to original position
  23. Install the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (LHD) (Remove and Replace) .
  24. Install the RH center console side panel. See SIDE PANEL - CENTER CONSOLE - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  25. Install the RH lower A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - LOWER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  26. Install the RH mid A-pillar trim. See TRIM - A-PILLAR - MIDDLE - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  27. Move RH front seat to original position
  28. Install RH front floormat
  29. Close RH front door
