Sensor - Parking Distance - Inner - Front - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install the parking sensors onto the front fascia.

  2. Connect the electrical harness to the front inner parking distance sensor, and then engage the connector lock.

  3. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD APRON - REAR (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  5. Consult the parts catalog to determine the type of parking sensor installed on the vehicle. If the vehicle is equipped with Tesla USS, run the following Toolbox 3.0 routines Toolbox 3 - Connect and Disconnect in the order listed:
    1. TEST-RESET_PARK
    2. PROC_USM_FRONT_PROGRAM-USS-ADDRESSES
  6. Remove the laptop from the vehicle.
