Headlight - Pair - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the LH headlight onto the body, and then insert the alignment stud into the correct position.
    CAUTION: Do not damage the headlight during installation.

  2. Install the fasteners that attach the LH headlight to the body.

    5.9 N.m (4.4 ft-lbs) 

    NOTE: The headlight might not be equipped with a lower fastener.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T30 socket
    • 1/4 in std flex head ratchet
    • 1/4 in flex head torque wrench (installation only)

  3. Connect the electrical connector for the LH headlight.

  4. Repeat steps  1 through  3 for the RH side headlight.
  5. Install the front fascia. See FASCIA - FRONT (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
    NOTE:

    After initiating the software reinstall, continue the front fascia installation.

  6. Perform a software reinstall concurrently with the rest of the steps in this procedure. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen .
    NOTE:

    After connecting the front fascia electrical connections, pause the procedure to initiate a software reinstall.

  7. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace) .
  8. Install the underhood storage unit access panel. See Access Panel - Underhood Storage Unit - Remove And Replace .
  9. Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD APRON - REAR (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  10. Adjust the headlights:
