Riser - Instrument Panel - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open the LH front door and fully lower the LH front window.
- Move the driver seat fully rearward.
- Remove the LH front floormat.
- Remove the LH center console side panel carpet. See Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the clip that attaches the carpet to the instrument panel riser.
- Remove the bolt that attaches the instrument panel riser to the cross car beam.
25 N.m
Tip:
Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- 3 in extension
- Remove the nut that attaches the instrument panel riser to the body, and then remove the riser from the vehicle.

NOTE: Note the direction of the instrument panel riser during removal.Tip:
