Gap Hider - Steering Column - Lower - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and fully lower the LH front window.
  2. Remove the rear underhood storage unit. See UNDERHOOD APRON - REAR (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  3. Disconnect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  4. Remove the driver airbag. See Airbag - Driver (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Remove the steering wheel. See STEERING WHEEL (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
  6. Remove the steering column upper shroud. See Shroud - Upper - Steering Column (Remove and Replace) 
  7. Remove the steering column lower shroud.
  8. Remove the LH footwell cover. See COVER - FOOTWELL - DRIVER (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  9. Remove the driver knee airbag. See Airbag - Knee - Driver (Remove and Install) .
  10. Release the clips that attach the lower steering column gap hider from the instrument panel sub assembly.

  11. Remove the lower steering column gap hider from the vehicle.
