Latch - Liftgate - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Install the bolts that attach the latch to the liftgate lid.

    10 N.m (7.4 lbs-ft) 

    NOTE: The latch has tabs on the backside. Position the latch so that the tabs enter the locating holes in the liftgate.
    NOTE: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

  2. Connect the electrical connector to the latch.

  3. Install the liftgate lower trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Install the liftgate upper trim. See Trim - Upper - Liftgate (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Close the liftgate.
