Reservoir - Windshield Washer - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift .
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the front underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Front (Remove and Replace) .
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install) .
- Disconnect the reservoir washer hose from the straight hose coupling at the cowl screen.
- Remove the clip that attaches the windshield washer reservoir neck to the body, and then release the neck from the body.
- Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel (Remove and Install) .
- Remove the LH front wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace) .
- Disconnect the windshield washer reservoir level sensor electrical connector.
- Disconnect the windshield washer reservoir pump electrical connector.
- Release the clips (x3) that attach the frunk harness to the windshield washer reservoir.
- Release the reservoir washer hose from the hooks (x6) and tabs (x2) on the windshield washer reservoir, and then remove the hose from the vehicle.
- Separate the windshield washer reservoir neck from the windshield washer reservoir.NOTE: Inspect the O-ring and replace if damaged.
- Remove the windshield washer reservoir level sensor from the windshield washer reservoir, and then allow the washer fluid to drain.
- Inspect the windshield washer reservoir level sensor seal for damage. Replace the seal if damaged.
- Disconnect the reservoir washer hose from the windshield washer reservoir pump.
- Pull the windshield washer reservoir pump upward to release it from the windshield washer reservoir, and then remove the pump from the vehicle.
- Remove the nuts (x3) that attach the windshield washer reservoir to the vehicle, and then remove the reservoir from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
