Ball Stud - Liftgate - LH - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the LH liftgate ball stud into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the ball stud to the vehicle.

    12 N.m (8.8 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Torx T30 socket

  2. Install the LH liftgate power strut onto the ball stud, and then install the C-clip.
    NOTE: Verify that the c-clip is full secured on the ball stud.

  3. Remove the liftgate support.
  4. Close the liftgate.
  5. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
