Sensor - Parking Distance - Inner - Front - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the front inner parking distance sensor into the front fascia assembly, and then secure the tabs (x2) that attach the sensor to the front fascia.
    NOTE: Verify the seal is fully seated on the sensor prior to installation.

  2. Connect the front inner parking distance sensor electrical connector, and then engage the connector lock.

  3. Repeat steps  1 and  2 for the remaining front inner parking distance sensor.
  4. Install the front fascia assembly from the vehicle. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install) .
  5. Connect LV power. See LV POWER (DISCONNECT AND CONNECT) .
    NOTE: After connecting LV power, do not shift the vehicle to Drive until the Toolbox routine (further below) is performed. Failure to do so can trigger vehicle alerts.
  6. On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls > Service > Jack Mode  to deactivate Jack Mode.
  7. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect) .
  8. In Toolbox, click the Actions  tab, type "TEST-RESET_PARK" into the search field, click TEST-RESET_PARK  , click Run  , and then allow the routine to complete.
  9. In Toolbox, click the Actions  tab, type "USS Addresses" into the search field, click PROC_USM_FRONT_PROGRAM-USS-ADDRESSES  , click Run  , and then allow the routine to complete.
  10. Disconnect the laptop with Toolbox 3 from the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect) .
