Applique - (Roof - Rear) - Remove And Replace: Remove

Open the LH front door.
Lower the LH front window.
Open the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
Open the liftgate.
Apply masking tape onto the vehicle areas surrounding the rear roof applique to prevent damages.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Masking tape

Release the front and rear seals from the rear roof applique.
NOTE: Move the 2nd row seats forward if space is needed.

Starting from one corner, use a cutting blade to cut through the urethane until the rear roof applique is loose, and then remove the applique from the liftgate.
CAUTION: Close the liftgate to fully remove the applique to prevent damages.

NOTE: Lubricate the applique with soapy water as needed during removal.

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Equalizer hydroblade
- Plastic trim tool

Remove any excess urethane from the liftgate.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Winged scraper set - 1080601-00-A

Use IPA wipes to clean the liftgate surface area. Allow 1 minute dry time.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- IPA wipes
Remove the masking tape from the vehicle.
