Rear Door Hinge - Secondary - Front - LH (Remove And Replace: Install

Position the LH front secondary rear door hinge into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x3) that attach the hinge to the upper door.
32 N.m (23.6 ft-lbs)

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- External Torx E18

With assistance, install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front secondary rear door hinge to the lower door assembly.
24 N.m (17.7 ft-lbs)

NOTE: Recommend assistant to hold the lower falcon door.

NOTE: Make sure the lower falcon door hinges align with the marked position before tightening the bolts.

Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket

With assistance, open and support the LH falcon wing door.
NOTE: Adjust the door position as required.

NOTE: Place protection between the stand and door.
Install the LH falcon wing door front and rear secondary struts to the body.
NOTE: Align the strut to the ball joint and secure the C-clip.

NOTE: Perform a push-pull test to confirm the strut is fully installed.

Secure the clips (x4) that attach the LH falcon wing door secondary strut harnesses to the door assembly.

Install the LH falcon wing door front and rear primary struts to the body.
NOTE: Align the strut to the ball joint and secure the C-clip.

NOTE: Perform a push-pull test to confirm the strut is fully installed.

Secure the clips (x4) that attach the LH falcon wing door primary strut harnesses to the door assembly.

Secure the LH falcon wing door front and rear primary struts from the door assembly.
NOTE: Align the strut to the ball joint and secure the C-clip.

NOTE: Perform a push-pull test to confirm the strut is fully installed.

Install the C-clip covers (x2) onto the LH falcon wing door front and rear primary struts.
NOTE: The clips are located on the bottom portion of the strut.

Connect the LH falcon wing door front and rear strut electrical connectors (x4).

Remove the support stand.
Install the LH upper rear door glass assembly. See DOOR GLASS ASSEMBLY - REAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
Calibrate the rear doors.
NOTE: If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
Raise LH windows and close the LH front door.
