Ball Stud Bracket - Front - Rear Door - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH windows.
  2. Remove the LH upper rear door glass assembly. See DOOR GLASS ASSEMBLY - REAR - UPPER - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  3. Support the LH falcon wing door.
    NOTE: Place protection between the stand and door.

  4. Disconnect the LH rear door secondary strut harness electrical connector.

  5. Release the clips (x2) that attach the LH rear door secondary strut harness to the LH rear door.

  6. Release the C-clip while pulling the LH rear door secondary strut away from the ball joint.
    NOTE: Do not fully remove the C-clip.

  7. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH rear door front ball stud bracket to the LH upper rear door assembly, and then remove the bracket from the door assembly.

    12 N.m (8.8 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 10 mm socket
