Trim - Lower - Fascia - Rear - Remove And Replace: Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
- Remove the rear fascia assembly from the vehicle. See FASCIA ASSEMBLY - REAR (REMOVE AND INSTALL) .
- Release the clip that attaches the rear fascia harness to the lower rear fascia assembly.
- Remove the screws (x4) that attach the upper rear fascia assembly to the lower rear fascia assembly.
5 N.m (3.7 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Release the tabs (x21) that attach the upper rear fascia assembly to the lower rear fascia assembly, and then remove the upper assembly from the lower assembly.
- Release the clips (x2) and tabs (x10) that attach the trailer hitch cover to the lower rear fascia assembly, and then remove the cover from the assembly.
- Remove the bolts (x6) that attach the lower rear fascia to the rear diffuser.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Release the tabs (x8) that attach the lower rear fascia assembly to the rear diffuser.
- Release the clips (x2) that attach the LH side reflex lamp to the lower rear fascia assembly, and then remove the lamp from the assembly. Repeat this step for the RH side reflex lamp.
