Cover - Cushion - 3rd Row - Remove And Replace: Install

  1. Position the new 3rd row cushion cover on the LH and RH cushion foams.

  2. Starting from the rear of the LH and RH seat cushions and working towards the leading edge, install the hog rings (x18) and Velcro strips (x4) that attach the 3rd row cushion cover to the seat cushions.

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • Hog ring pliers - 1501599-00-A

  3. Flip the 3rd row cushion assembly to access the bottom side.

  4. Install the J-hooks (x2) that attach the 3rd row cushion cover to the rear end of the cushion substrate.

  5. Install the J-hooks (x2) that attach the 3rd row cushion cover to both sides of the 3rd row cushion substrate.

  6. Install the J-hooks (x2) that attach the 3rd row cushion cover to the cup holder.

  7. Feed the 3rd row cushion connectors (x4) through the cushion cover.

  8. Install the J-hooks (x2) that attach the 3rd row cushion cover to the front end of the 3rd row cushion substrate.

  9. Install the tabs (x4) that attach the 3rd row cushion cover to the rear corners of cushion substrate.

  10. Flip the 3rd row cushion assembly to access the topside, and then inspect for any fitment issues.
    NOTE: If issues are present, correct the trim fitment, and then proceed with the installation.

  11. Install the 3rd row seat cushion. See CUSHION - SEAT - 3RD ROW (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  12. Install the LH and RH 3rd row tray harnesses. See TRAY HARNESS - 3RD ROW - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  13. Install the rear trunk carpet. See Carpet - Rear Trunk (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace) .
  14. Install the rear trunk floor NVH insulator. See NVH Insulator - Floor - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace) .
  15. Install the rear trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  16. Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  17. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  18. Close the hood.
  19. Close the liftgate.
  20. Move the LH and RH monopost seats to original position.
  21. Move the LH and RH front seats to original position.
  22. Calibrate the rear doors.
    NOTE: If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate  to calibrate the rear doors
  23. Raise the LH and RH front windows.
  24. Close LH and RH front doors.
