Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - RH (5 Seat) - Remove And Replace: Install
- With assistance, position the RH 2nd row seat assembly into the vehicle.NOTE:
Make sure the guide pins are aligned properly.
- Connect the RH 2nd row seat harness electrical connectors (x4), secure the connector locks, and then secure the connector housings to the bracket.NOTE:
Secure the connector housings to the bracket.
- Secure the clips (x2) that attach the seat harness to the RH floor support bracket.
- Position the RH 2nd row seat carpet support bracket into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the bracket to the vehicle.
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)
- 10 mm socket
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Install and hand tighten new bolts (x6) that attach the front of the RH 2nd row seat assembly seat track to the vehicle.
- 11 mm socket
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Install new bolts (x4) that attach the rear of the RH 2nd row seat assembly seat track to the vehicle.
45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)
- 11 mm socket
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Tighten the bolts (x6) that attach the front of the RH 2nd row seat assembly seat track to the vehicle.
45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)
- 11 mm socket
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Install the RH 2nd row seat floor support.
- Install the 2nd row rear floor panel. See FLOOR PANEL - REAR - 2ND ROW (5 SEAT) - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Fold the trunk carpet to the original position.NOTE:
Fold carpet down over the harpoon brackets.
- Install the 2nd row mid floor panel. See FLOOR PANEL - REAR - 2ND ROW (5 SEAT) - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the LH lower C-pillar trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - LOWER - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the LH rear sill panel trim. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - LOWER - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the LH mid C-pillar trim. See TRIM - SILL PANEL - REAR - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Repeat step 12 through step 14 for the RH side of the vehicle.
- Install the LH and RH side rear trunk garnish. See TRIM - C-PILLAR - MID - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the trunk gap hider. See GARNISH - REAR TRUNK - SIDE - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the LH and RH trunk load floor bracket covers. See COVER - BRACKET - TRUNK LOAD FLOOR - LH - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the front trunk load floor. See TRUNK LOAD FLOOR - FRONT - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Install the rear trunk load floor. See TRUNK LOAD FLOOR - REAR - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Connect LV power. See LV POWER - DISCONNECT AND CONNECT\
- Install the rear underhood apron. See UNDERHOOD APRON - REAR - REMOVE AND REPLACE
- Close the liftgate.
- Remove the masking tape from the LH and RH lower C-pillars and from the race tracks.
- Fold the LH and RH 2nd row seats to the upright position.
- Move the driver and front passenger seats to the original position.
- Close the RH front door.
- Calibrate the rear doors.NOTE:
If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT
- Click the Actions tab, and then search for "Service-Redeploy".
- Click SERVICE CAN REDEPLOY
, and then click Run and allow the routine to complete.NOTE:
The routine will state pass but the update will continue to run in the background.
NOTE:The UI will show the update progress.
NOTE:Click the X at the top right of window to close once complete.
- Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle. See TOOLBOX 3 - CONNECT AND DISCONNECT
- Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
